The Concept
WHERE THE STREETS FIGHT BACK
Wheelz is an original superhero narrative set against the gritty, electric backdrop of urban life. It follows Hope — a sharp, street-wise young woman whose extraordinary abilities are awakened when the city she loves comes under threat from forces far more dangerous than anyone suspects.
The world of Wheelz blends cinematic action with real human stakes. It's a story about what it means to have power when no one believes you, and what happens when the enemy wears a familiar face.
Co-created by Godi Panzout and Gareth Mitchell under the Floa7 banner, Wheelz is designed from the ground up as a serialised, multi-season universe — beginning with the pilot episode and expanding outward into a full mythology of heroes, villains and the fractured world between them.
Characters
HOPE
Protagonist · Superhero
Light-skinned mixed-race, curly textured hair — her style blends Shaka's aesthetic with a fierce, feminine-tomboy edge. Black and red checkered shirt, black tight jeans, black Dr. Martens. She moves through the city armed with a camera and a gift she's still learning to understand.
MEPHISTO
Villain · Antagonist
Unknown. Dark. Charming, mysterious, and cunning — the kind of figure who never wants to be seen. Mephisto operates from the shadows, watching Hope long before she ever knows she's being watched. The perfect predator in an urban jungle.
"The villain comes out unseen — and spots Hope with dangerous intent."
SARAH
Supporting · Point of View
Sarah's Dream sequences drive the visual language of the pilot — fragmentary, layered, disorienting. She is the lens through which the audience begins to understand the scale of what's coming.
Power isn't given to those who are ready for it. It arrives when the world runs out of other options.

Brand Identity
THE MARK
The Wheelz identity is built around tension — between motion and stillness, control and chaos. A spoked wheel intersected by razor-sharp gestural forms in black, with red slashes cutting through like speed lines or wounds. The logo exists in multiple treatments: clean vector, dark textured, and live-environment mockups.

Visual World
MOOD & AESTHETIC
The Wheelz visual universe draws from urban energy, high-contrast fashion photography, afrofuturist tech design, and the rawness of street documentary. Every frame is considered. The colour language — deep reds, near-blacks, and fractured whites — carries through from branding into wardrobe into environment.

The Pilot
SCENE BY SCENE
The pilot opens on Hope — in her signature red and black, camera in hand, moving through her neighbourhood with purpose and quiet observation. What begins as an ordinary day fractures when the city reveals its shadows.
Eighteen scenes take us from the vibrant streets through crime scenes, laboratories, and the terrifying intimacy of a car encounter with Mephisto — culminating in Hope's world-altering collision with fate.
